About the Author

Gale Park Frederick was born in Whatcom County, WA in 1943. She has raised and bred the Chincoteague Ponies for over 40 years. Gale was the largest private Chincoteague Pony Farm for decades. Gale Park Frederick founded the first Chincoteague Pony Registry in the World. Registers purebred Chincoteague Ponies and keeps pure Stallion Pedigree Records. Gale founded two web sites. www.pony-chincoteague.com and www.pony-chincoteague.org. The sites bring in 192 Foreign Countries looking in every day to see the Chincoteague Ponies on the live barn cam. Gale produced her first Chincoteague Pony DVD in 2005. It is titled, "Chincoteague Ponies On The Farm". Following this DVD came two more. "Chincoteague Ponies Go Home " and our most sought after DVD, "Chincoteague Pony Training". For Decades, Gale has produced a yearly calendar celebrating the Chincoteague Ponies. A passionate photographer, Gale has sold many of her photos of the Chincoteague Ponies. A book titled, Western Homestead Ranch Cooking,offered by Gale and The National Chincoteague Pony Association is on the book stands now. Gale loves raising birds and reproducing them. She is an avid gardener, gourmet cook and baker. Gale has to be living on a farm with a huge family visiting often and the farm hands coming in for a hot meal.
